Terms of Service

Last updated: April 23, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of KinCare(“KinCare”, “we”, “us”), our marketing site at kin-care.com, and the application at app.kin-care.com. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who can use KinCare

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your password secure.

2. What KinCare is — and is not

KinCare is a coordination tool to help families organize care. It is not a medical device, medical record system, or diagnostic tool. Nothing in KinCare substitutes for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical decisions.

3. Acceptable use

When using KinCare, you agree not to:

  • Use the service to harass, threaten, or harm anyone.
  • Share information you do not have consent to share.
  • Attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours.
  • Reverse-engineer or disrupt the service.
  • Use KinCare to store or distribute unlawful content.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you add to KinCare (medications, journal entries, files, etc.). You grant us a limited license to store and display that content solely to provide the service to you and the circle members you invite.

5. Billing

Free tier features are listed on our pricing page. Premium subscriptions renew monthly at the price shown at sign-up. You can cancel at any time and will retain Premium features through the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

6. Cancellation & termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, subject to a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue when practical.

7. Disclaimers

KinCare is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KinCare shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to the service or these terms

We may update the service and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice with reasonable advance notice.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which our primary business is located, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
